The 2006 Community Group Leader Packet is finally available! Use this tool to orient your group to the Revitalization effort in Alpine and the 2nd Annual “Vitalize Alpine” event.

This year’s packet highlights accomplishments to date including a matrix of current projects and contact information of project leaders. You’ll see photos of last year’s participants in action. A directory of last year’s participating organizations and contact persons is included as well.
To update the vision and priority project lists for 2006, you’ll find a set of instructions for running your own “Vision of Alpine” mini-workshop. A delegate from your group can bring your results to the event to be included with those of all the other groups.
In addition to celebrating concrete results, and updating the vision and projects lists, this year’s theme is sustainable economic development and what that could mean for Alpine. Additionally, we’ll be looking at what can be done to make Alpine recession-proof and disaster-proof. It’s been said that into every life a little rain must fall. Having an umbrella is just plain smart!
